Are you sitting on thousands of pounds? Most valuable movie merch you might have at home

Sought-after antiques can fetch huge sums of money and can be found anywhere in the world. Members of the public may even have valuable trinkets in their home and have no idea.

The experts at LoveAntiques.com have compiled a list of the most valuable movie (as well as literary and TV) merchandise the public might have in their homes.

None of the items on the list are expensive collector’s items – all were available for public release.

Topping the list is a 1940s Batman comic which values at over £150,000, followed by a 1985 Ghostbusters VHS worth £1,800.

The list also includes items such as a poster from the 2009 film Avatar, now worth £430, and a 1995 Toy Story Mr Mike voice recorder for £1,300.
