Aaron Ramsdale’s fine efforts over the last couple of seasons are set to be rewarded with a move to Arsenal. Sheffield United boss Slavisa Jokanovic revealed that a deal had been agreed on Wednesday night, which could signal the end of one player’s time at the Emirates.
Arsenal are reportedly set to sanction the sale of Alex Runarsson once the deal to sign Aaron Ramsdale is complete.
The Gunners are set for a major improvement in goal, with potential England no. 1 Ramsdale on the brink of a move to north London.
The 23-year-old was named as the Blades’ player of the year last season, despite finishing rock bottom of the Premier League, an accolade he also won the previous year at Bournemouth.
But despite back-to-back relegations, Ramsdale is once again set to return to the top flight, with Arsenal close to agreeing a £30m move for the Euro 2020 finalist.
