A British teenager was reportedly murdered while on holiday with his mum in Pakistan. Adil Khan, 14, from Bradford, West Yorkshire, was killed while visiting his relatives. The events surrounding his death have not yet been confirmed – but police are said to have made two arrests. Express.co.uk has contacted West Yorkshire Police to see if the force is aware of the teen’s death overseas and is awaiting a response.
Adil grew up in the predominantly Asian Manningham area of Bradford. He was previously at the centre of a missing persons inquiry in Pakistan in 2019 – but was reported to be found safe and well. His death was announced at 11.59pm on Saturday, November 19, by Janaza Announcements, which reports on deaths on social media.
The post read: “A 14-year-old boy has been murdered in Pakistan while on holiday. Adil Khan, age 14 has sadly passed away.”
His shocking death at such a young age saw many take to social media to express their grief.
Shabana Hussain said: “May Allah grant him the highest ranks in Jannatul firdous and give immense strength to the family during this devastating and difficult time.”
Sarah Etienne added: “Can’t believe I find myself commenting on a poor child’s janaza announcement….again!!! These children haven’t had the chance to live yet and they’ve been taken away. What on earth could he have done so wrong to be ‘murdered’? heartbreaking news…yet again! RIP young man. Condolences and prayers to the family and friends.”
Maria Khan added: “My deepest condolences to all the family an innocent child’s been taken away from his family especially from his mother. Allah Swt give him a highest place in Janant and sabur to his family and friends and severe punishment to who ever is responsible for this cruel and awful thing to do.”
Bee Khan said: “Being a mother myself.. I can’t believe I’m actually reading this it’s so tragic. May Allah swt give sabar to the parents and this angel Janaat Ameen.”
Qasum Siddique commented: “How has such an innocent young boy been murdered and for what reason. He’s only 14, what is going on in this world.”
