Cheltenham horse Shallwehaveonemore has died after a horror fall in opening race, it has been confirmed. ITV presenter Ed Chamberlain shared the devastating news to viewers following the first event at the Cheltenham Festival. 

Shallwehaveonemore sustained a fatal fall while jumping a hurdle in the maiden race. ITV host Chamberlain told viewers: “I’m afraid the news is what we feared about Shallwehaveonemore, who I’m afraid had to be put down after a fall at the last.


“You have to feel so sorry for owner Stephen Packham, he’s had no luck at the Cheltenham Festival over the last few years. Likewise the Moore family. Sad start to the Cheltenham Festival.”
