Chinese rocket lands in Indian Ocean

A large out-of-control Chinese rocket has come down in the Indian Ocean, according to reports.

The rocket had such a wide-ranging landing point, it could have landed as far north as New York and as far south as New Zealand, Sky News reported.

The re-entry of the Long March 5B rocket, which is around 100 feet tall and weighs 22 tons, has captivated social media, in part because its exact landing site couldn’t be pinpointed.

The rocket launched April 29, carrying with it the first module of China’s future space station.
