Desperate search underway after three boys aged 9 to 14 disappear

Cumbria Police said late last night that they are concerned for the safety of Harley Anderton, aged 14, Kye Hollingworth, aged 13 and nine-year-old Logan Gray, who disappeared in the rural Witherslack part of the county. The boys are believed to be together.

“Police are concerned for the welfare of three young people missing from Witherslack,” a spokesman for Cumbria Constabulary said last night,

“They were all reported missing earlier today (15 March) and are believed to be together.

“Harley is described as being 5ft 6 inches tall, of slim build and has short brown hair.

“It is believed he may be wearing a green jumper, black trousers and black trainers.

“Kye is described as being 6ft tall, large build and has short black curly hair. It is believed he may be wearing a black zip-up hoodie, a blue t-shirt, black shorts and black trainers.

“Logan is described as being 4ft tall, of slim build and has short brown hair. It is believed he may be wearing a grey jumper, white polo shirt, black trousers and black trainers.”

The force has issued photos of each youngster to help the appeal.

Anyone who has information on the boys’ whereabouts is encouraged to contact police.

Witherslack, which is just inside the Lake District, is a small village near Morecambe Bay.
