Emmerdale fans were left shocked last week after David Metcalfe (played by Matthew Wolfenden) betrayed Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) However, in upcoming scenes, things are set to get worse for the shop owner when his love ends up walking out on him for good. ITV viewers watched as David got a speeding ticket, but in an unexpected turn, he blamed it on Victoria so he wouldn’t get the points on his license. However, lawyer Ethan (Emile John) ends up frightening David when he explained it could end in a prison sentence.
In scenes set to air next week, Victoria is left absolutely furious when David tells her about the speeding ticket in her name.
An angry Victoria threatens to go to the police if David doesn’t clear up his mess.
However, when at the police station, David hopes he has said enough as he pleads his case to the investigating police officer.
Elsewhere in the Hide, Ryan (James Moore), Bear (Joshua Richards) and Marlon (Mark Charnock) are all taken aback when Victoria tells them about David’s betrayal.

Wendy (Susan Cookson) soon offers Victoria a key to Dale View as the Sugden favourite tries to convince herself that she’s doing the right thing.
Later, David heads out to try and win Victoria back, which is when Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell) explains that he’s the new delivery driver, much to David’s disappointment.
Following last week’s episodes, fans also hope Victoria leaves David following his betrayal.
