The This Morning cleaning expert posted her toilet cleaning routine to her Instagram account where she boasts almost 260,000 followers.
Lynsey Crombie wrote to her followers: “Happy Toilet Tuesday.
“Cleaning the toilet isn’t just about chucking bleach down, it’s about getting down and dirty and giving it a really good scrub.”
Lynsey showed exactly how she tackles her toilet, explaining how she has special blue cloths specifically for the toilet.
Lynsey disinfects her clothes after every toilet clean by soaking them in disinfectant and water in a plastic bucket or caddy before putting them through the washing machine.

After this stage, Lynsey takes a new damp cloth and wipes over the toilet again.
Then, with a foaming cleaner, Lynsey tackles the toilet bowl with a toilet brush before flushing it.
Lastly, she cleans the toilet handle, which she claims could have even more germs than the seat.
“At the end of the clean my blue cloths go in my caddy along with a splash of disinfectant and water, and I leave them to soak before they are washed in the washing machine.”
Recently Lynsey detailed a “simple” bicarbonate of soda hack for the oven door that could have yours sparkling in just half an hour.
She said: “If your oven door is covered in grease grime and burnt marks then you definitely need to give this simple trick a try.”
Mix washing up liquid, bicarbonate of soda, and a little water together to create a paste.
Then smear this paste generously over the inside of your oven door.
