Midfield – Partey, Xhaka; Odegaard

Attacking midfield has been an area Arteta has wanted to strengthen throughout the summer.

Talk has ramped up over a return for Martin Odegaard in recent days and that is a deal that could happen.

He would be competing with Emile Smith Rowe for the No 10 role.

Thomas Partey will return from injury next month, with Granit Xhaka set to be his regular partner in midfield again.
