He’s one of the most recognisable stars in Hollywood.

But on Thursday, Hugh Jackman cut a low-key figure as he went on a morning coffee run in New York City.

The 52-year-old actor kept warm in a black jumper and quilted jacket as he grabbed a caffeine hit from a local café.

The R.M. Williams ambassador teamed the outfit with grey pants and comfortable blue sneakers as he manoeuvred around the city.

Hugh also wore a black beanie that read ‘All be happy’ and covered his famous face with a mask.

The Wolverine star appeared relaxed as he held a coffee in his hand and walked back to his home.

Hugh has been based in the Big Apple for years with his wife, Deborra-lee Furness, and their two children, Oscar and Ava.

But the Greatest Showman star is said to be contemplating a move back home to Sydney’s Bondi Beach, where he owns a $6million property.

‘Hugh has privately considered a move back for years, but he never followed through with it because he has such a good life in the States,’ a source recently told New Idea.

‘Besides his career, there’s a solid support network and he and Deb are now die-hard New Yorkers. They love the spirit of the Big Apple, plus the pace and excitement of being in a city that never sleeps.’

Despite this, Hugh is reportedly missing having the beach at his backdoor and still feels attached to the laid-back lifestyle in Australia.

He also wants to be closer to his extended family, and believes that moving back to Australia would give him the opportunity to boost the local film industry.
