After a week’s absence due to battling coronavirus, the 46-year-old found herself in the dance off against children presenter Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu.
In the end, it was decided that Molly would be the person to continue in the competition as she landed a place in the semi-final next weekend.
Speaking on her exit, Kym commented: ‘My dad has been so proud and it’s kind of kept him going.
‘When he was in hospital last week, and obviously we weren’t here, all these guys sent him videos and it meant such a lot.
‘My grandchildren are so proud.’
