Mbappe has faced heavy scrutiny at times for his demeanour at PSG this season, despite scoring 19 goals in 20 matches at club level. He signed a new blockbuster deal at PSG in the summer, which reportedly included an eye-watering £100million signing bonus.
And while results on the pitch have been going PSG’s way with both Neymar and Lionel Messi showing their best form, Mbappe’s attitude has been a hindrance. He was threw several strops during a match against Montpellier earlier in the season after Vitinha opted to pass to Messi instead of the Frenchman and acted furious when Neymar took PSG’s second penalty of the game.
And multiple reports have indicated that Mbappe is trying to use his new-found power at the club courtesy of his controversial contract to have a say in the transfer market with both Messi and Neymar seemingly under threat. With all that, Mbappe is still said to be frustrated at PSG and there has been some suggestion that he could look to leave in the near future.
