Kym Marsh and her professional partner Graziano Di Prima had to withdraw from last week’s episode of Strictly Come Dancing after she tested positive for coronavirus. The couple appeared on Thursday’s instalment of It Takes Two where they spoke to host Janette Manrara about the Cha Cha Cha they will be performing for week 11 of the competition. While Kym, 46, has recovered from Covid she spoke out about an issue with her shoulder.
Janette welcomed Kym and Graziano back to the contest following a week off.
Kym admitted she watched last Saturday’s show in bed with two tissues up her nose as she battled Covid.
This week, they will be dancing the Cha Cha Cha to Fame by the late Irene Cara for Musicals Week.
Normally, they would reflect on last week’s routine with Janette but due to their absence, they spoke about the previous week’s Paso Doble.

“I’ve loved every second, it’s been amazing,” Kym said. “And where we should be feeling pressure we are really not because we are going out there and we are going to have the best time ever. “
Kym will be competing against Will Mellor, Molly Rainford, Helen Skelton, Fleur East and Hamza Yassin in the quarter-final.
She opened up to Morning Live viewers earlier this week about her “scary” battle with Covid.
“That wasn’t pleasant and certainly wasn’t at a good time at all so that was rubbish but thankfully I am testing negative now,” she explained via video link.
“But then dad went into hospital during the week and obviously I have not been able to see him, I managed to see him yesterday because I have been testing negative.”
Kym’s father David has terminal cancer which was confirmed in June.
She added: “I have been able to go and see him but he is ok, he is on the mend but it was very scary for a couple of days, it has been a bit of a full plate on our end.”
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Friday at 8pm.
