The park was evacuated following “the release of a gas”, according to the park’s Twitter.
The incident appeared to take place around the Aquatics Centre, and emergency services are on site.
The park tweeted: “There has been an incident @AquaticsCentre this morning involving the release of a gas. The area has been cordoned off and evacuated.
“We’re working with emergency services on site. There are a number of casualties with breathing difficulties being treated by @Ldn_Ambulance”.
The London Ambulance Service confirmed that they have responded to the incident and have “a number of resources on scene.”
Twitter user @BellotEmma, present on the scene, tweeted that the park was evacuated due to a “major incident”.
