Prince George, Charlotte and Louis plan summer holidays as Kate hints 'outdoor vacation'

The Cambridge children all had their final day of school last week as the trio prepared for a drastic change. They will be starting new schools in September as the family is set to move to Windsor.

Prince George, 8 and Princess Charlotte, 7, have been attending Thomas’s Battersea, very close to their current Kensington Palace home in central London and had their final day on Friday.

However Prince Louis, 4, who has been attending Willcocks Nursery School started his holiday early as he had his last day on Wednesday.

Prince George has enjoyed an excellent start to his holiday by making his Wimbledon debut on Sunday to watch the men’s final in the royal box.

The Prince, who looked very smart wearing a suit and tie, also enjoyed a special treat when he met the winner Novak Djokovic and had a chance to hold the trophy.

During school breaks the Cambridge family often leave London for the countryside.

They usually head to their Norfolk home Anmer Hall on the Sandringham Estate.

In the past, Prince William and Kate Middleton have discussed some of the activities their children enjoy during their free time.

They include baking and cooking in the kitchen as well as arts and crafts.

“Or is it the fact that we’ve gone out and lit a bonfire and sat around trying to cook sausages that hasn’t worked because it’s too wet?”

There is the possibility that the Duke and Duchess will take their family on a domestic break, possibly to the Isles of Scilly or the Lake District.

It is likely that the family will head to Scotland when the Queen heads to Balmoral for her traditional summer break around August or September.

They may even travel further afield perhaps to the Caribbean island of Mustique famously beloved by the Duke’s aunty Princess Margaret.

Another possible destination could be Jordan where the family posed for their 2021 Christmas card photo.

It’s also likely to be a big summer with the Cambridge family planning to move to Windsor where the Queen now spends most of her time.

Although it hasn’t been confirmed it has been widely speculated that the family will live in the Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor estate.
