Queen Letizia stuns royals fans as monarch steps out navy dress and £700 shoes

The glamorous award ceremony was organised by the Autonomic Province of Andalusia to reward marble artists and entrepreneurs. The royals arrived in Almería, Spain, for the ceremony and began the night with cocktails and a sit-down dinner.

Queen Letizia has delighted royal fans with her new chic outfit, as the royal stepped out to the award ceremony wearing a dark blue midi dress.

She also wore diamond earrings to complete the royal look and had her hair pulled back to show off the glamorous accessories.

However, Queen Letizia’s dusty pink Jimmy Choo shoes completed the royal’s look as the sparkling heels are priced at €850, or around £743.69.

The Spanish Queen also wore pink lipstick and eyeshadow to match.

King Felipe looked just as sophisticated and coordinated with his wife in a dark navy suit and a patterned lilac tie.

The ceremony began with a video speech from the President of the Association of Andalusian Marble Entrepreneurs and then the royals began handing out the awards.

There are ten different categories to be won, but this year held the first “Award for Sustainability” to reward those who managed to get ahold of marble with zero carbon emissions and focused on the environmental impact of their craft.

King Felipe also gave a speech highlighting the role the industry has had within the global economy as well as Spain and praised them for the example they set.

The fashionable royal gave up her career when she married King Felipe in 2003, and it was reported the Spanish royal proposed to her with a 16-baguette diamond engagement ring with white gold trim.

Queen Letizia gave her future husband a proposal gift as well, a pair of white gold and sapphire cufflinks as well as a book.

She officially became Queen in 2014 when King Felipe’s father, Juan Carols I abdicated the throne, citing personal reasons, and reportedly said in Spanish that he did not want “my son to wither waiting like Prince Charles.”

The former King attended the funeral of Queen Elizabeth in September which was the first time he was seen in public with King Felipe and Queen Letizia in two years as Juan Carols has been in self-imposed exile following allegations of tax fraud.

While the monarchs were there to represent Spain, Juan Carlos received a private invitation as he was related to Queen Elizabeth, and both are the great-great-grandchildren of Queen Victoria.
