SAS Rogue Heroes has been airing on BBC One, with all episodes available to watch on BBC iPlayer. For those who have already watched all six episodes, they are keen to know if there is more to come from David Stirling (played by Connor Swindells) and his team. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about the show’s future.
Will there be a season 2 of SAS Rogue Heroes?
The historical drama from Peaky Blinders boss Steven Knight has explained the origins of the British Army Special Air Service.
Most of the events portrayed in the series are a representation of what really happened in the 1940s.
David Stirling has seen huge success after creating a special commando unit which could operate deep behind enemy lines.
Sadly there were some huge losses along the way, including Jock Lewes’ death (Alfie Allen).
Although season two is yet to be officially confirmed by the BBC, it is believed there could be at least three more seasons.

He said: “It’s a really interesting character-driven true story, where the truest bits are the weirdest bits.
“And it was just irresistible.” He went on to praise the cast for bringing the inspirational story to life.
Dominic West, who plays Lieutenant Colonel Wrangel Clarke in the series, explained what he already knew of the true story.
He said: “I love anything about the SAS, I think it’s fascinating. I’d read the book by Ben Macintyre when it first came out.
“When Tom Shankland, who I worked with on Les Miserables a few years ago, rang me up and said ‘I’m doing this, do you want to be involved?’ I said, ‘Yes Thomas – yes I do Shanky!’.”
He added: “I think it has such mystique and romance, the SAS.
“Especially for people like me who remember the Iranian embassy siege in the 80s – that was when suddenly this crack regiment with the ‘who dares wins’ motto seemed to really enter the public mythology, and I’ve been fascinated by them ever since.”
Hopefully, more information on the show’s future will come to light in the new year, once the series has finished airing on BBC One.
SAS Rogue Heroes airs on Sundays on BBC One at 9pm. The whole series is available to watch on iPlayer.
