SAS Rogue Heroes writer details 'challenges' of killing off beloved characters


He explained: “Absolutely yeah, and what I didn’t want to do was make it fit fiction. I’m trying to keep it real.

“So in the forthcoming episodes, lots of failure and disaster which there was, characters who, as a dramatist, you would love to keep going but they died.

“So you make a choice and I have chosen that when that character died, they die, and it’s a shock.

“Hopefully, it will be quite emotionally effective, but the choices also be for me, keeping to the real story. In terms of the template.”
