The leader of the Chechen Republic warned Russia can show Poland “what we’re capable of in six seconds if there is an order”. He added: “You better take away your weapons and your mercenaries and officially apologise to our ambassador”. It comes after protestors threw red paint over Russian ambassador Sergey Andreev in Warsaw on Russia’s Victory Day. Poland has been a fierce ally to Ukraine since the invasion began, taking in millions of Ukrainians who have fled to conflict.
